Finding the Gap. Building the Thing. Since '15.

I was fifteen when I built my first website on WordPress. Nobody asked me to. My community needed a place to find information and I just thought, why not me? It was rough. But people used it.

I didn't plan a career in marketing. I fell into it. Blogging led to Twitter, where I grew to 160k followers. That led to influencer work, then social media management, then full campaigns, then strategy. One thing kept pulling the next because I was enjoying marketing.

Somewhere between Nigeria and Canada, across banks, charities, a media company, a crypto startup, and a university alumni office, I figured out what I was actually good at: understanding what people need and building something they want to be part of.

The wins are real. A billion impressions for Heineken Nigeria ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Over 250% audience growth in two years at First City Monument Bank. A scholarship from the Government of Canada to earn my Chartered Marketer designation. And most recently, helping the University of Lethbridge grow its alumni audience by over 120% while improving event participation and fundraising.

But the projects I think about most are the ones nobody hired me to do. BUBO FPL, for people who live and breathe football. Drive Thru, a newsletter for immigrants figuring out life in Canada. No brief, no budget. Just a gap I couldn't walk past.

Same instinct, different scale. I'm still that fifteen-year-old. Finding the gap, building the thing, bringing people along.

Before You Ask...

Will you need sponsorship to work in Canada?
No. I am legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
What's your status in Canada?
I am a valid open work permit holder with full work authorization.
Your last few roles have been short. What happened?
A few of my recent roles coincided with my time as an international student, during which I was limited to 20 hours of work per week. My departure from the University of Lethbridge was a personal decision—I left on strong terms with positive relationships intact.
You've worked across multiple industries and countries. How does that apply to this role?
My experience across finance, non-profit, entertainment, and post-secondary education in both Canada and Nigeria has given me a rare ability to adapt quickly, understand diverse audiences, and apply best practices across sectors. I don't just bring what worked in one industry—I bring a framework for identifying what will work anywhere.
Are you open to hybrid or remote work?
Yes. I'm comfortable with remote, hybrid, or in-person environments. I've successfully led remote teams across time zones and am equipped to collaborate effectively regardless of setup.
